Goal:
Gain access to government agencies, such as the Department of Defense, to obtain funding for research and development
Results:
- 1-man company grew to 84 employees in 4 years — G2G was there from the begining, facilitating growth by securing $10 million in government funding through grants, earmarks and a DARPA contract
- Client didn't know any program managers within the Department of Defense or anyone in Congress — G2G prepared white papers and made introductions to key decision-makers within DoD and Congress
- Client possessed charisma, enthusiasm and quality products but had never worked in Washington, D.C. — G2G coached client on how to target skill set for Congress and Federal Departments, using the best message with each Member of Congress and Program Manager that would resonate, match their interests/committee assignments/portfolio of research projects, and lastly, position the client for success
- Client realized value and expanded G2G's role to include state representation — G2G developed relationships for client with the Ohio Department of Development, governor, state legislators and made submissions for funding through the state loan and grant programs, which client won in multi-million dollar awards from the state
