Griffin is a Government Affairs Associate in Columbus. She recently completed a fellowship with the Legislative Service Commission (LSC). As an LSC Fellow, Griffin worked in the Ohio Senate where she managed the capital budget process, staffed committees, researched and provided policy analysis, and drafted floor speeches. Griffin comes to G2G with a background in healthcare policy. She received her Master’s in Health Administration from the University of South Carolina where she graduated at the top of her class. While in graduate school, Griffin was a part of the South Carolina Hospital Association’s Advocacy Team, where she helped establish the groundwork for the Social Determinants of Health Collaborative and researched strategies for better health information exchange in South Carolina. After graduate school, Griffin worked at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, focusing on Social Determinants of Health for NICU patients. Prior to graduate school, Griffin attended Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, where she was a political science major. She was a four-year starter and three-time captain of the Kenyon Woman’s basketball team and continues her love for basketball as a part time assistant head coach for the Denison University Women’s basketball team.
