Makayla serves as a Government Affairs Assistant at G2G Consulting. She is originally from Atlanta, GA, and is a Junior at Howard University where she studies political science and history. Makayla previously worked for The Live Movement where she drafted legislation and collaborated with the Department of Education on education reform. She has also lobbied Congress with the March for our Lives Youth Lobbying Collective for gun reform and worked to educate the public on this matter. In addition, Makayla staffed Justin Krebs' campaign for New York City Council where she organized on the ground and identified strategic tactics for the direct voter contact program. She has also provided strategic consulting on public affairs and community outreach efforts. Makayla enjoys working in consulting, government affairs, and research and brings valuable dedication and experience to the team. She also enjoys competitive bike riding with friends, kickboxing, and reading mystery novels.
