Online Congressional Briefing on Menopause

What's so hot about menopause? Hear from the experts and find out!

September 16, 2025 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm EST

Some 75 million American women are currently in perimenopause, menopause, or post-menopause. Once a woman transitions to menopause, her risk for heart disease, autoimmune diseases, Alzheimer’s, and other conditions increases significantly. Women can experience any of 100+ symptoms, such as hot flashes, sleep disturbances, brain fog, and urinary incontinence – all of which can impact work, families and communities where women are essential. Lost workdays alone due to menopause symptoms cost the U.S. economy $1.8 billion annually, according to the Mayo Clinic. Dial in to learn about the vast impact of menopause and policy recommendations.
