Obtaining Cleveland Funding

Goal:

Establish a public private partnership and secure funding to build proven technology for drone tracking and management in Ohio.

Developed a partnership with local nonprofit and university to build local support

Awarded $450,000 from the Cuyahoga County to build the technology for Cuyahoga County

Secured local and state champions

Developed presentations, communications, white papers, and one pagers simply explaining the technology and need

Held multiple briefings at all levels of government educating on growing use of drones and need for program

Invited to testify before the Ohio House Aviation and Aerospace Committee

Convened more than 50 stakeholders to share data and develop policies for the system
