Originally from San Diego, California, Alyson works remotely as a Government Affairs Assistant for G2G. As a student at UC Berkeley, she oversees the business analytics and development side of the Berkeley Political Review, the school’s only nonpartisan political journal. She previously served as an intern for Liz Lavertu’s State Assembly campaign in California’s 71st District, where she drafted content to clarify focal policy stances, as well as managed media promotions and external engagement. She has also written for multiple cultural publications on a myriad of topics, from political activism to ethnic identity. In her free time, Alyson enjoys playing soccer, volunteering, and creative writing. Her work with G2G highlights her enthusiasm and experience in the intersection of business development and government affairs.
