Anna Kate Simpson

Government Affairs Assistant

Anna Kate is a Government Affairs Assistant intern and a Foreign Affairs major at the University of Virginia, where she is also pursuing a minor in General Business. She is interested in a wide range of policy areas, including women’s health, education, and national defense, and looks forward to supporting multiple teams throughout her time at G2G.

At UVA, Anna Kate is deeply involved in the International Relations Organization, where she serves as a Model United Nations delegate and previously held the role of Secretary. Through this work, she has gained experience in policy analysis, diplomatic communication, and consensus‑building across diverse perspectives. She has also worked in roles supporting public‑facing outreach and civic engagement efforts, strengthening her interest in policy development and strategic advocacy.

In her free time, Anna Kate enjoys long walks and running, baking, reading, traveling, and all things French—having recently returned from a study‑abroad program. She is committed to advancing thoughtful, well‑informed policy solutions and contributing to meaningful work across the G2G team.
