Lulya Amine is a proud first-generation Eritrean American student at Howard University, where she holds a 4.0 GPA. She is majoring in Criminology, with double minors in Strategic and Legal Communications. She has worked in the Advocacy Department of the Howard University Student Association, a member of My Sister’s Keeper, a Fall 2024 initiate of the Pre-Law Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International and as the Outreach Chair for the Eritrean Ethiopian Student Association. Additionally, Lulya is in the Youth Justice Advocates Program, where she mentors incarcerated youth at a local correctional facility and previously served as an intern for the District of Columbia Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services. After graduation, Lulya plans to pursue a law degree and a career dedicated to advancing youth justice, community advocacy, and social reform.
