July 16 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EST
Learn how the National Plan for Epilepsy Act, introduced by Senators Schmitt and Klobuchar and Congressmen Murphy and Costa will save lives and honor actor Cameron Boyce, and the many others who have died from epilepsy. People with epilepsy have a three times higher risk of death than the general population due to preventable causes, including Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP). For too many families, there is no warning and minimal understanding but with coordination across the country on best practices for epilepsy care and for SUDEP prevention, we can save lives.
