Women face health conditions that disproportionately, differently, or uniquely affect them – yet they remain underrepresented and underfunded in research and overlooked in healthcare. Only 2% of venture capital and under 11% of government grants are dedicated to women’s health.
Why is there under-investment in research and development of women’s health innovation and why is this so important now more than ever before?
